Is a Tourist Adventure Company, that has various years of experiences leading expeditions and first descents of South American Rivers.
Pura Vida Expeditions has a staff of professional guides with years of experience and training in the outdours and studies in the local history, geography, culture, first aid, security, rescue and are bilingual.
The most important aspect for us is the conservacion and security in the rivers that we run.

FICO GALLESE
Born in Peru and is the founder of Pura Vida Expeditions. He has a Bachelor in Administrative Science and First Aid course. He speaks fluent Spanish and English.
Fico has close to 25 years experience of running rivers in all parts of the world.
He has been a leader in various first descents and was a member of the First Expedition "Peruvian and North American" to run the Cotahuasi Canyon which is in Arequipa-Peru and is the deepest of the world!

SABINA UTZINGER
Was born in 1970 in Zurich (Switzerland)
She graduated in Social Psycology in 1997.
Sabina in the last 5 years has been living in South America. She speaks fluent German, Spanish and English.
Since she was 16 years old, she has been a pasionate kayaker. Sabina has run most of the rivers in Europa and South America, working in many different rivers expeditions, as a rafting guide. She is a great entertainer!
